Preserve Your Family History for Generations to Come...
Do you have a piece of wood that holds sentimental meaning to you and your family?
I have made pens with wood from antique wooden boats, floor boards, barns, walking sticks, rocking chairs, favorite trees and more. Send me your special piece of wood and I will make you your very own heirloom pen. Many of my customers have had pens made for their parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. The great thing about an heirloom pen is that it offers you an opportunity to repurpose special wood into a pen that can be passed down through the generations.
When I receive your heirloom wood, I will determine if it can be used. Depending on its condition it may need to be dried or stabilized. Don't worry, this is something that I'm used to doing. I have had the pleasure of producing some beautiful pens from wood thought to be in to poor of a condition and of only sentimental condition.
