Jim Beam Whisky - Oak Barrel
Clermont, Kentucky

Jacob Beam, son of a German immigrant, started selling the corn-whiskey recipe created by his father.  He sold his first barrel of Old Jake Beam Sour Mash in 1795, with his distillery known at the time as “Old Tub”.  Jacob’s son David has been credited as “The Pioneer” purveyor of the famous Old Tub and enlarged the distillery allowing for future growth.  David M. Beam transformed Old Tub into a national brand when the distillery was moved closer to the railroad.  After the Prohibition ended, Colonel James B. Beam brought the brand back to life by rebuilding the distillery in Clermont in 120 days.  Jim Beam was unveiled shortly thereafter and has been the world’s #1 bourbon ever since.  T. Jeremiah Beam took the brand around the world.  Fred Booker Noe II introduced the Small Batch Bourbon Collection.  Fred Noe is currently the master distiller.

Pens Ink is proud to offer this unique hand-turned product made from a genuine Jim Beam Oak Barrel.  The barrel was used only once to age the bourbon.
